Warm Up~10 min

Dribbling relay: Teams compete by dribbling around small cones and touching large cones to score. Individual variant: 1 green vs 1 red across 4 rounds. Easier: run around cones without a ball. Harder: must dribble around 2–3 small cones before touching the large cone.

  • Keep your head up when dribbling — see other players and space
  • Try to use both feet when dribbling
  • Accelerate between cones and after beating a defender
  • Can you trick your opponent to get past them?
  • When you lose the ball, become a defender quickly

Main Activity~35 min

Skill dev — 1v1 dribbling: Multiple small pitches, 4 players per pitch (two at a time, two waiting). Players take turns dribbling past their opponent to score a goal. Also try 2v1 and 1v2 variations. Easier: pair players of similar ability. Harder: challenge players to beat someone they think is hard to beat. Game application — 4-team crossed pitch: 4 teams and 2 pitches in the same area; goals run across each other's pitch. Green vs Yellow in one direction; Orange vs Blue in the other. Rotate teams every 5 minutes. Players must stay aware of both games simultaneously. Easier: extra players for weaker teams. Harder: fewer players for stronger teams.
