DESCRIPTION: A fast-paced 1v1 drill where attackers use fakes and body feints to beat defenders and dribble through one of two gates, developing reaction speed and close ball control.

OBJECTIVES:
- Develop quick decision-making in 1v1 situations
- Train reaction speed
- Improve close ball control and body feints
- Teach defenders to anticipate and body position correctly

EQUIPMENT: Training sticks or cones for two gates, Soccer balls, Cones for lines

MAIN ACTIVITY: Set up a diamond-shaped area approximately 30x30 feet. Place two small gates (using training sticks or cones) equally between two player lines, about 30 feet apart. Attackers have one ball each. The first attacker dribbles forward and chooses which gate to attack; the first defender steps out and tries to stop them. Attackers use feints, changes of pace, and body movement. Attackers can switch to the other gate if the defender cuts off one. Score 1 point for a successful dribble through a gate; defenders score 1 point for winning possession. First to 10 points wins the round. Players rotate after each round.

COACHING POINTS:
- Attackers: use explosive changes of direction and speed to unbalance defenders
- Encourage creative dribbling moves: scissors, step-overs, shoulder feints
- Defenders: stay low, react quickly, use proper foot positioning to force attacker away
- Keep intensity high with quick transitions

PROGRESSIONS:
- Weak Foot Challenge: attackers must use their weaker foot
- Time Limit: attacker must attempt to score within 5 seconds
- Bonus Points: award extra point for attackers using a skill move before scoring
- 2v1 Variation: add a second attacker to force split-second decisions from defender
